from reading this article i learned that backgrounds, location, and lighting are most important when taking a portrait session. if you have too much stuff in the background it takes away from the focal point, which is the person. if the lighting is wrong it can create unwanted shadows and so on... with the location you should show the individual in a familiar place, somewhere they are a lot.

from reading this article i learned 6 useful and helpful tips to shooting portraits with a digital camera. if you switch the settings to portrait mode it will create a softer background and focus on the individual. also, they recommend using a tripod when shooting outdoors to reduce blurring. and lastly, dress ur subject well. try out different poses, angles, and lighting.
1. the first thing i notice about this picture is the sleeping baby and the somewhat invisible forearms coming out to hold him.
2. this photo is probably taken of a new mother and her newborn baby. proabably for family pictures.
3. this image looks professional because the babies arm and feet and the mothers arms are perfectly set up to craddl the baby and the feet are exposed to show how fragile the baby is.
4. i think this is a common picture for new mothers and newborn babies.it shows how innocent the baby is and the love and bond between the mother and the child.
5. this picture is adorable and all but it doesnt inspire me to take pictures of infants because i wouldnt have the patience to sit there and try over and over and over.

5. this could inspire me to make the pictures look antique or more old fashioned.
1. the first thing i notice are the lights that lead ur attention to the couple. the lights def draw ur attention towards the back of the photograph.
2. this photo of them was probably taken at their wedding reception. it looks like it was taken maybe at a vineyard in california, colorado, or somewhere neat like that.
3. this photo doesnt really scream proffesional to me. its ok. their posture and the position of their hands are perfect.
4. i think this is a good pose for the angle of the picture. they're perfectly set up in the middle of the bridge and it looks good.
5. i dont think this picture will inspire me at all. i didnt really get anything out of it except thats its a good looking picture.
